February 1973, Supermans Girlfriend, Lois Lane #129 Cover, Bob Oksner pencils/inks, Serpent In Paradise, I found another Grail cover from my youth two in one year! Go figure! A classic Bondage Bronze Age DC cover! Also, Lois Lane is wrapped in the clutches of a serpent - the Biblical reference is quite evident! I started reading Lois Lane with issue #126, back in 1972, a few months earlier than this issue hit the stand. The #129 was always my favorite, it has everything! An all action cover, with suspense, and two damsels in distress, and Superman coming to the rescue! About a week ago, I saw this cover on Ebay and I was stunned! I could not believe my eyes, just sitting there behind a frame with broken glass! I had to rescue it for sure! And to top it off, the auction ends on Christmas Eve! Well, I waited patiently and I won it! But I could not risk it being mailed to me and I just could not wait till January 2nd, the estimated delivery date either! So I drove down to Philadelphia early this morning and picked it up in person! (Bob Oksner also signed the piece on the bottom margin)
