February 1972, Astonishing Tales #10, Page #1 Splash, Barry Windsor Smith pencils/Sal Buscema inks, “To End In Flame!" I am thrilled to be able to acquire this incredible Bronze Age splash from one of the first comics I ever read back in 1972; A great story written by Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway; The splash shows Ka-Zar, Zabu, his loyal sabertooth tiger, and Paul Allen about to get thrown into the water from the small raft they were on on their way to New Britannia. Ka-Zar uncovers the truth that Heinrich Draco and Captain Christopher, the leaders of the two warring factions in New Britannia, know that the war is over and are prolonging it for their own reasons. He and Zabu manage to stop the two when they try to blow up the Savage Land by dropping a bomb into a volcano.
