When the daredevil Al "Devil" Dayre is kidnapped, Batman must find him and discover who is behind his kidnapping and ransom! Al "Devil" Dayre was really supposed to be Evel Knievel. Knievel was one of the greatest American daredevils and an international icon. In his career, he attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps, from 1965 to 1980. In 1974, Knievel attempted and failed at a jump across Snake River Canyon in the Skycycle X-2, a steam-powered rocket. He held the distinction of suffering more than 433 bone fractures in his career, from his motorcycle jumps! This comic even has a cameo by Johnny Carson from the Tonight Show!;
